This
Rock Rattlesnake (lepidus) was found in Sept 2002 by myself and my very good
friend Aaron Mattson. It was found in the heart of Shafter, Texas on the
side of the main highway. It is exceptional in its colors and we were very
happy to take its image.
This Great Basin Rattlesnake (Lutosus) was found in Millcreek canyon to the
east of Salt Lake City, Ut. It was found in the morning while hiking with my
friend Mark Hazel. We left it after taking its picture and came back about
15 minutes later and it was still in the same position. It was on the edge
of the boy scout parking lot across the street from the main entrance to the
camp. I have found several others that are similar in color.
This
Christmas mountain alterna was caught in August 2003 in front of Wild Horse
Station. It was 9:20 P.M. and the air temperature was 91 degrees. I did
collect the animal and it is now in my collection. It is my first ever that
I personally collected from the Christmas Mountains. It is also a young
adult female.
